Halden travel
Halden is a town and municipality in Ostfold county, Norway. The administrative centre of the municipality is the town of Halden. The town of Halden (named Fredrikshald until 1928) was established as a municipality 1 January 1838. The rural municipalities of Berg and Idd were merged with Halden on 1 January 1967.The small area of Tistedalen, 4 kilometres (2 mi) east of the city centre, belonged to the city as an exclave from 1686 until 1967 when the areas separating it from the city were merged into the municipality.
